I had bought it initially with the intention to heat up food if I were to bring them to office (as opposed to the use of microwave oven). However, I realize that there are so many things that you can cook using this little lunch box. But have since found its many uses and conveniences. As such, it has become one of my impulses to be a chef using simply this electric lunchbox for cooking.
How the Electric Lunch Box Works
There is a metal plate at the bottom of the lunchbox, which is the heating element. In order for it to work, you have to add water to it, before switching the on button. There is a safety interlock which will off the power when the pot is dry.
You put the food inside a small stainless steel pot. You can choose to use one or two tiers depending on your preference.
Food is heated via a steaming process.
